Much as we love our little ones, keeping them occupied can sometimes be a chore. One creative fix is to build a playroom for them. It keeps them out of your hair, but at the same time, it offers peace of mind, because you know exactly where they are, and they remain within your reach. Giving them a dedicated play space can be helpful in other ways. Knowing it’s a room of their own offers autonomy, independence, and self-esteem.

Rats, rats, and more rats! Rats have inhabited Australia long before humankind and long before the First Fleet settled in Sydney. It was previously believed that rats were introduced to Australia by the First Fleet, stowing away on supply ships. This was recently challenged by a Florida scientist who claims that rats first migrated to Australia from Asia over 5 million years ago. The rats travelled over the sea by clinging to floating flora, until eventually reaching Australia and into what is now your neighbourhood.
When it comes to home heating, there is a lot of debate as to which fuel source is the best. Do you choose good old fashioned wood or do you for gas or electricity? Each fuel source has its pros and cons. Out of the three fuel sources, my favourite would have to be gas. Don't get me wrong, wood and electricity are also great, but gas seems to suit my home and lifestyle more than the other two and here's why.
